Correspondence between Lotka and Volterra
After reading Volterra's 1926 article in Nature, Lotka recognized similarities between their equations and results. He wrote a letter to the editor, to which Volterra replied. The exchange is reported here. Volterra concedes the priority of Lotka's work but highlights some differences.
